EducationInvestor Awards 2012: Shortlist announced

For the last few weeks EducationInvestor, the leading business magazine for the education sector, has been inviting nominations for the 2012 EducationInvestor Awards.

The response has been overwhelming – and today we are delighted to announce the shortlist of the best entries in 24 categories, as chosen by our editorial panel.

This year's shortlist includes our new Education Business Award, the grand-prix, to be awarded to the education provider or supplier that can demonstrate the greatest all round business success. The shortlist for this award includes Babcock; Bright Horizons; Cambridge Education Group; First Education Alliance; INTO University Partnerships; and Twig World.

The judges will also pick their outstanding individual contribution, from a list of four: Ed Baker, founder of StartUpWeekend London EDU; Sir Peter Birkett, chief executive of the Barnfield Federation; Lucy Heller, managing director of Ark Schools; and Professor Nigel Savage, chief executive of the College of Law.

You can see the complete shortlist below.

The finalists will now be judged by our panel of independent expert judges from across the education world. The winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner at the Hilton Park Lane on the evening of 15 November. To book your place, click here.
