Private equity firm The Riverside Company has invested an undisclosed sum in Ohio-based resource developer n2y.

Madison Capital and New Canaan provided funding for the deal.

Founded in 1997, n2y is a developer of education curricula and teaching materials for K12 students with special needs.

It offers its products to teachers and schools administrators via a cloud-based subscription platform.

Founded in 1988, Riverside has invested in 55 education and training companies to date.
