Curro Holdings buys 41st school

South Africa’s Curro Holdings has bought its 41st school with the acquisition of St Dominic’s in Newcastle. The terms of the deal were undisclosed. 
 
As part of the acquisition, Curro will invest in new facilities at St Dominic’s to accommodate future growth. The school has 560 pupils but wants 900. 
 
Curro is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and runs nursery through to high schools across South Africa. It plans to own 80 schools by 2020.
