The University of Kent has appointed University Partnerships Programme (UPP) as preferred bidder to deliver its new student accommodation scheme.
The new project will see the company funding, designing and operating a 495 bed on campus development. Construction is scheduled to start in late 2010.
The £26 million project will be the company’s second development with the university. Once the transaction has been completed it will bring UPP’s total investment in the university to over £50 million.
