Student accommodation provider University Partnerships Programme (UPP) has been granted planning permission for a scheme to redevelop facilities at Kings College London.
Southwark Council granted permission for the plans to demolish much of the college’s existing accommodation, and provide 740 new or refurbished rooms at its south London site.
The university claims that the scheme will also benefit the local community, by providing investment in local transport links and a swimming baths.
