The Education Summit is the annual destination for the education industry. Its function is to stimulate debate and provide opportunities for networking at the highest level. The event addresses industry-wide challenges and will act as a forum for the latest thought-leadership in finance, investment, estates development, procurement and ICT.

Last year brought together more than 150 delegates from public and private sectors, to participate in debate and hear keynote speakers including universities minister David Willetts; Partnerships for Schools chief executive Tim Byles; and the Department for Education's head of commercial policy Jack Salter.

This year's Education Summit will be held in London on Tuesday 17 April, and will address key topics including:
  • financing UK education
  • improvements in provision and procurement of goods and services
  • improving the education estate and developing creative learning spaces
  • the role of the private sector
  • the role of technology as an enabling force, both in and out of the classroom
  • international opportunities for UK education

These challenges are shared by education establishments at all levels and the Education Summit will address each of them in a single forum.
