Education provider Adtalem Global Education has appointed Robert Phelan as interim chief financial officer, replacing Mike Randolfi, the company’s senior vice-president and chief financial officer who has left the company to work elsewhere.
Phelan has been the company’s vice-president and chief accounting officer since February last year and will hold the chief financial officer position until Adtalem recruits a replacement.
With has more than 30 years’ experience in finance. Prior to Adtalem, he spent more than 23 years advancing through several senior financial and operational leadership positions at Sears Holding Corporation, where he was most recently senior vice-president and corporate controller. Phelan began his career at KPMG and is a CPA.
