La Maison Bleue, a large childcare provider in Switzerland, France and Luxembourg, has acquired Kids’up which operates 15 nurseries in Ile-de-France in the Greater Paris area, Capital Finance has reported.

Kids’up is reported to employ 180 staff and is expected to generate €10 million of revenue this year. The company has partnerships with 80 companies and around 10 town halls offering services looking after young children.

La Maison Bleue was advised by ACA-Nexia and Racine for the acquisition; Kids’up was advised by Fuzall Corporate Finance and SC Avocat.

La Maison Bleue is supported by Towerbrook and Bpifrance and is headquartered in Paris.

The firm has hired Rothschild to explore a sale of the business later this year.
