London-based investment management firm Platina Partners has acquired Unow, a digital professional training firm headquartered in Paris.

Founded in 2013, Unow offers distance learning programmes in soft skills, combining live classes, tutoring and group work with access to digital educational resources.

The group offers a range of state-approved tutoring and professional certification courses and its customers include HSBC, Air France, TDF, ABN Amro, BNP Paribas and Deloitte.

Unow stated it aims to grow by attracting new key clients, while maintaining strong renewal rates with existing customers.

Platina was advised by Agilys Avocats (legal), Rothschild & Co (M&A), Aca Nexia (financial due diligence) and Philips & Byrne (technical due diligence). The vendor was advised on legal issues by Ava & Associes.
