Bengaluru-based ed tech decacorn Byju’s has acquired Mumbai-headquartered Toppr, a schools-focused test preparation platform, for $150 million, Mint has reported.

Founded in 2013, Toppr offers products and services aimed at K12 students. Its learning app provides live classes and sessions, pre-recorded lessons and tests, and its catalogue covers 17 subjects and prepares students for more than 60 exams.

The company also offers a school management solution School OS, which helps educational institutions conduct online classes. Other offerings include an exam preparation app Answr and code-learning offering Codr.

Last year Toppr raised $46.7 million in a funding round led by Foundation Holdings.
