Bengaluru-based skills development platform AntWak has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round from venture capital firm Matrix Partners India, Inc42 has reported.

Early-stage fund Better Capital and angel investor Kunal Shah also participated in the round.

Founded last year, AntWak offers more than 1,000 free, bite-sized professional learning courses in subjects such as cybersecurity, digital marketing, data engineering, user experience, sales, and data engineering.

AntWak stated it will use the funding to invest in content and education infrastructure, and scale its marketing and sales teams.

AntWak founder Joybroto Ganguly said: “Our live classes are powered by professionals who have been there and done it – and that too at a fraction of the cost of available alternatives. This is made possible through our focus on creating a lean business model and a low-cost customer acquisition engine.”
