Ivy Education has acquired Wentworth Education, a tutoring and educational consultancy agency founded in 2014, which provides counsellors, teachers, and educational mentors to support students. The company teaches a variety of subjects and offer advice on US and UK university applications.
Alastair Delafield set-up Ivy Education in March 2010 to provide private tuition. He said: “We’re delighted to welcome Wentworth Education and their clients to our family. Building on their fantastic work, we will provide nursery, schools, and university advice from start to finish, including choosing the right establishment, interview preparation, assessments, specialist entrance exam tuition, visa applications, and all the administrative work.”
Katherine Wiles, manging director of Wentworth Education, added: “We are delighted to be joining forces with one of the most sought-after education consultancy firms in the UK, Ivy Education. In addition, joining the Ivy Education family complements our tuition and consulting services and allows us to offer exclusive, expert help from ex-heads of top UK independent schools, as well as a team of further education advisors to build on our existing offering. Combining our experience, we will be uniquely placed to provide quality, comprehensive education support for all ages and stages of UK and US education.”
Ivy Education and Wentworth Education are both based in London.
