Day nurseries and pre-schools group Kindred Nurseries has acquired HRH Nurseries group in Cambridgeshire.
Established in 1991 by director Glenda Perrott, HRH Nurseries comprises three childcare settings with an effective operating capacity for 220 children. Perrott is elling in order to retire.
Kindred Nurseries’ chief executive Ruth Pimentel said: “We are thrilled to welcome HRH nurseries into the Kindred family and to extend our reach into Cambridgeshire. We have got to know Glen and her family well as we worked through this process. She wanted to be confident that the staff, the families, and the children would be well looked after, and we gave her our assurance that they would be a valued part of our group. We are very much looking forward to getting to know them and would like to thank everyone who has been involved in making this sale happen.”
The transaction was facilitated by business property adviser Christie & Co.
Nick Brown, head of brokerage at Christie & Co, said: “When meeting Glen for the first time, it was clear that she cares passionately about the children and nursery staff at her settings, but the time was right for Glen and her family to take a step back after all these years in the sector and I am delighted to have been able to help them achieve a successful retirement sale. Kindred will undoubtedly build on what Glen has achieved over the years and I’m sure we’ll see this group continue to thrive and expand.”
HRH Nurseries group was sold at an undisclosed price.
