Scotland-based Little Beehive Nursery Group has acquired Little Einsteins nursery in Kirkcaldy, which has capacity for up to 92 children.

Little Einsteins has been closed since Covid-19-related lockdowns began in the UK in mid-March, so its new owner has renovated the site to create a “contemporary open-plan provision”.

Little Beehive, which already owns a pre-school in Kirkcaldy, plans to merge its two existing nurseries and relocate to the refurbished site, which is situated in Sang Road, in time to re-open for the 2020/21 academic year.

Its other site, located at Balfour Street, will join The Hub Club, a group of after-school facilities owned by Little Beehive.

The sale of Little Einsteins was overseen by property advisor Christie & Co.
