Online textbook retailer Chegg has appointed Woodie Dixon Jr (pictured) as general counsel effective 8 September.
Dixon is the current general counsel and senior vice-president of business affairs for the Pac-12 Conference where he oversees all legal matters for the Pac-12, including corporate and commercial matters, media rights licensing and distribution, litigation, and labour and employment matters.
He was previously general counsel for the Kansas City Chiefs American football club from 2004-2010. He has also worked for the National Football League, and the law firms Sidley & Austin and Dorsey & Whitney.
