New York City-based private real estate investment firm LCP Group has acquired three early childhood education facilities in Georgia.

The three properties are the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool in Roswell, Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool in Cumming, and the Big Blue Marble Academy in Grovetown. Each property was recently completed and the day care centre operators have entered into long-term leases with LCP affiliates.

Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschools was founded in 2002 Matt and Rachel Dahler and has grown to more than 29 locations in 10 states.

Blue Big Marble Academy provides an education-based programme for children from infancy to age four. The Big Blue Marble Academy brand, which was founded this year by Nan Rickard, has grown to include 34 locations in eight states.

Rich Marquard, executive vice-president of investment operations at LCP Group, said: “We are thrilled with the addition of these three early education centres to our portfolio. We have been impressed with the programs offered by both Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Big Blue Marble, and we believe in their continued success. LCP will continue to seek investment in the early education space, as the industry continues to expand and the demand for early age child education grows.”

The LCP Group has real estate holdings and assets under management of approximately $1 billion throughout the US.
