Leif, which specialises in technology facilitating access to education funding, has raised $60 million in a round led by LL Funds and Insita Group, Finsmes has reported.

New York-based Leif has developed a platform that enables the design, origination and programme management of income share agreements and other outcomes-based tuition finance programmes.

Leif stated it has partnered with almost 100 institutions over the past year, facilitating the close of more $300 million in capital.

The company said it will use the funding to expand its platform and that it expects to double its headcount to approximately 50 in the next 12 months.
