Lafayette, Louisiana-based SchoolMint, which provides strategic enrolment management in K12 education, has acquired Schoolrunner, a Denver-based tech company that specialises in K12 education.

SchoolMint’s chief executive Bryan MacDonald said: “Adding Schoolrunner to the SchoolMint family accelerates our mission to help customers attract, enrol, and retain students and teachers. By combining rich data capabilities with advanced analytics and communication tools, Schoolrunner brings educators, students and families together in meaningful data dialogue. Now more than ever, these insights are so valuable in helping every stakeholder make informed decisions, and in particular significantly increasing our customer ROI.”

Charlie Coglianese, founder and chief executive of Schoolrunner, added: “Our mission has always been to help educators, students, and parents improve outcomes by giving them access to timely and relevant insights. By combining with SchoolMint we can bring the power of our data and analytics to the industry leader in strategic enrolment management.”

SchoolMint stated it plans to continue offering and enhancing the Schoolrunner platform while also building out new capabilities related to strategic enrolment management using the Schoolrunner foundational technologies.

In March SchoolMint acquired Bright Minds Marketing, a K12 enrolment and marketing consulting firm, providing schools and districts with strategies and tactics that help increase student enrolment.
