Bright Horizons

Childcare and early education group Bright Horizons Family Solutions has reported net income of $7.1 million for the first quarter of 2021, down 77% from net income of $30.7 million reported for Q1 2020.

Revenue for the quarter was $390.8 million, down 23% from $506.3 million reported for the first quarter of 2020.

Bright Horizons chief executive Stephen Kramer said: “I am pleased to report a solid start to 2021 as we continue to make strides in recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic. Our recovery continues to illustrate the unique strength and resilience of our model and reflects the actions we have taken to support clients, families and staff through the challenges of the past year. We are incredibly proud of the manner in which our passionate and dedicated team has stepped up during the pandemic.”

Bright Horizons Family Solutions is headquartered in Watertown, Massachusetts.
